Sunday

Sunday at our house is such a different kind of day.  Of course it should be a different kind of day.  The most important day of the week, the day we attend church to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Our ward meets at 11 am.  So that means not many of us are up and moving around before 9.  Dan of course is up and out of the house by 7:30 for Bishopric meetings, but the rest of us are total lazy bones!  So out the door the rest of us go around 10:20 so Shelbylyn can go to choir practice.  (this family needs 3 cars) 

Church from 11 to 2 and then home in a flash.  Everyone usually changes clothes except maybe Delanie if she has a family history meeting later in the evening.  Of course everyone is starved and the fridge gets ransacked for food.  We usually have leftovers, cheese, crackers, spinach dip, summer sausage, finger foods really of any sort.  So once the hunger monsters have been satisfied, everyone starts to go their own ways.  Some of us nap, some read and some just watch tv , and Dan goes to work.

To finish out the day we make popcorn with real butter and salt and watch Once Upon a Time.

To bad that on Monday the house is a disaster!  Sunday's make it all worth it though.
