It was finally time to head over to Castaway Rays, for our stingray excursion. We were all given another set of snorkel gear and an inflatable life vest. Our family made up one group and we walked into the water to our "horseshoe". Here our guide Eric told us about the stingrays at Castaway Cay. When we visited they even had several pregnant rays. So the rays are pretty smart and are trained to enter the horseshoe from the left side of Eric and then swim around and exit on the right. They have plates that are of course shaped like Mickey ears. Eric then gave everyone a piece of stingray food, there was stingray jello, which basically looked like tofu, but for stingrays, shrimp and squid pieces. Then you put your hand flat on a Mickey plate with the piece of food standing up between your fingers and then the ray would swim around the horseshoe and suck the food up from your fingers. It took some convincing to get Courtney to try it.
We were all able to feed them as long as we wanted. Eric also instructed us how to stingray shuffle. When you walk you don't pick your feet up but shuffle across the ocean floor that way the rays hear you coming so you don't step on them. Eric found a couple of the pregnant rays and stopped them in the horseshoe so we could feel the babies inside the moms. After we were done feeding the stingrays, we were then give free time to swim with the rays. It was pretty awesome.
After our visit with the stingrays we went over to the snorkel lagoon. I love to snorkel. Even Delanie snorkeled, she said it was because she had a life vest on so she felt safe. In the snorkel lagoon there are lots of surprises that Disney created for fish habitat.

| It wouldn't be a trip to Castaway without seeing Minnie! |
After we were done snorkeling it was time to head back to the cabana and gather our things, it was almost time to reboard the ship. Such a fun day had of course gone by much to quickly.
Back on board we all had to shower, it's amazing how much sand comes home with you. No seriously, even after I unpacked here in Las Vegas, there was still sand in the water shoes! It was time to head to dinner and tonight we ate in Parrot Cay and enjoyed the island menu. I don't remember what I had for an appetizer, but I had salad and the mixed grill for dinner and finished off with the creme brulee cheesecake for dessert.
Everyone was exhausted! We had just spent approximately 7 hours at the beach, swimming and playing. After dinner we headed to the theatre for the evening show. Toy Story Live! It was really well done, the costumes were Disney amazing of course. I have to admit if felt like a really long show. Everyone was so tired and it was easy to doze in the dark theatre. I wish they had done this show on a different night because we would have enjoyed much more. It was an amazing show, but we were all just too tired to stay focused!
After the show, we went up to deck 10 to take pictures of Nassau, as we had already docked there. We were unable to get off the ship, but it was quite the pretty view to be in port at night with other cruise ships around us. Off in the distance we could see the lights of the Atlantis resort and the city lights going up a the side of the "mountain" on the island.
